After graduating art school, I proceeded to cut up all of my art history books, old drawing assignments, and dark room mistakes in an effort to create new work from their scraps. Ever since, I’ve worked mostly in collage and have become a book hoarder, surrounding myself with encyclopedias and art history books.

Over the years I’ve created collages that use symbolism to suggest narratives that range from science fiction to mythology. I’ve dabbled in geometry, researched the occult, and scoured every thrift store and estate sale in search of inspiration and materials for my art. In my work you’ll see vintage bird illustrations alongside biblical sculptures, astronauts participating in mysterious rituals, or Greek deities succumbing to the truth of science.
